UV water steralizer

Hi guys, Im looking for a way to steralize water for whatever purposes if I happen to be in the middle of nowhere (some countries dont have campsites either). There are 12v UV steralisers for aquariums or in line 12v domestic ones for off the grid purpose, or 240v with an inverter. Anyone used one or heard of a camper steraliser?

I use a Nature Pure water filter when wild camping and need to fill up from streams and the like. Not cheap though. I never use campsites.

Personally I'd look at using filtration rather than UV. I use a old Katadyn hiker one for when I'm out on the moors for a few days. They do larger ones for expedition use.

Thats great they look good quality, maybe they do something more automatic I can just add before the tape
