Clutch release bearing resting poistion

Does this look right to you guys, just replacing a badly worn clutch.

The release bearing comes to rest (with the resting pressure of the slave cylinder) quite far out, does it look right in the pics / video below?

No hydraulic leaks. Is is it meant to ride / make contact the whole time or is the slave cylinder at fault?

Any thoughts appreciated, as it just going back together...

Yes it is a constant contact bearing.

One thing to check (if previous bearing broke up) is that there are no parts of old release bearing left sitting on the support tube. I mention it because I once spent several hours trying to refit gearbox and failed to see the remnants of centre ring of old bearing there when i fitted new bearing. It was camouflaged rather well and clutch was held solid with gearbox bolted up. This can be very hard to spot and will push new bearing further out. Worth a check before going for refit.
