May as well just solder the old one on then, you can unpeel the crimp and remove the old wire.
As for removing the crimp, they are not moulded in because they need to float, the pin is moulded into the fusebox.
the crimp usually has tangs that lock into the moulding, finding them and releasing them is the challenge which is why a special tool is usually made, you can usually do it with something else if you can see where they are.
