hi a friend of mine done a oil change and now has a leak on a push rod tube and he said there was no leaks before? i said to him how much oil did you put in? its just over the top line so he said its the same as last time ?? to much oil/pressure you blew the seal am i right or not ??

no, pushrods are in sump oil so nothing to do with oil pressure but if the seal was bad anyway then over filing means it leaks past the seal, top level on didstick is just by the lower pushrod oil seals.

Been meaning to check the exact level of the dipstick for a while
looks like top mark is above the lower edge of the tappets / push rod tube.
