Where does everything live?

Post by Elbee »

Hi everyone
I am a new (48hrs!) and very proud owner of my first ever camper a Komet high top T25 - apologies if I have quoted the model wrong.
When I picked it up the stow away tables (2 - one for the cab of the van and one for the sofa.) were placed on the top bunk - where might these have lived on been clipped originally?
Also where would the jack have been stowed ? Passenger seat spins snd has the leisure battery under it. Manual says under the sofa but that is the water tank!?!?
Do I have a secret VW tool box to find? A friend who owns a classic shape Beetle said VW did this but wondered if it was just for cars?!
So happy with the van and looking forward to hearing any advice and support.
Many thanks
Elbee

Hello and welcome,
Table tops are normally clipped to the underside of flat surfaces (like the rear overhead locker), or alongside cupboards, or behind seats. Jacks are usually under the seat (front or rear), but like you say - things change, so you have to find somewhere else. Most vans seem to evolve to fit their owners, no doubt you'll discover the places that suit you best.
Make sure you use the WIki (up top) for all those new owner queries.....

on the Komet i had the tables slid in between front seat and kitchen unit. I just used to leave them on top of the engine bay
