Black Plastic Trim on front A pillar seam.

Post by totallyconfused »

How do,

I have black plastic pushon trims that cover the metal seam/runners on my two front A pillars. These keep working loose and sliding down. When I pulled one off so I could lift it up and push it back on, there is some sort of black gunk underneath.

I assume this is some sort of glue/sealant that's meant to stick the trim on?

If it is, not just dirt, grime...what is it? What should I use to stick the trim back on with?

Many thanks. :D
