jx air intake to turbo dump valve hose

Post by clobber »

Hi every one, im just looking for a little help, on replacing my exhurst i notice a spilt on lower elbow (Turbo intake) where a hose connects,
i have two hoses connecting to the air intake, one connects in the midle about a foot below air filter and leads to the dump valve on manifold, the lower hose connects to the damaged elbow and is the beather hose to rocker cover.
the question is, can i loose the hose to the dump valve, i a hose needed on the dump valve, seems on other jx engine there is no hose.

any help would be appreciated Richard

Yes, you can loose the dump valve hose. The later vans didn't have one AFAIK
