Body work advice

Post by ranger »

Capture_Camper Door.JPG
Hi everyone
Needs some advice if I may. Unfortunate damage to the sliding door this weekend. Damage is only to outside of door as per the attached image. Door still works fine.
If possible I need to know what I need to do to fix it. Is it possible to fix it my self. I would like to try. What tools etc. would I need and what would people's advice be on the process to fix it ?
Any help greatly appreciated .

Take the door card off, see if you can get to the inside of it and try to tap it out.
Or tack weld some nails onto it and pull on the nails with a claw hammer from the outside.
Then a skim of filler and bobs your uncle.
