Hi all,
Trying to help a fellow member who is looking for a N/S front hub or stub axle. His existing has I believe the earlier twin piston calipers with the rectangle pads whereas mine are the sliding single piston type with the kidney shape pads.
My question is, are all the stub axles the same or are they suited to the calipers?
Thanks for any input.
Stub axle differences?!?

Re: Stub axle differences?!?
Pretty sure they are different as I have both new and old either side and they both have early brakes but different wheel bearings.

There are definitely differences in the wheel bearings, which comes from the stub axle sizes; IIRC the later ones have a larger diameter on the outer bearing inner race - i.e. the outer part of the stub axle is thicker.
