T25 California specs?

Post by Fozziebear »

I've been looking at pictures of T25 California's and they seem to vary in spec some have all white bumpers, some all black bumpers, some are white with a black mouldings, some with alloys some not, some have extra lights on the front lower grille next to the indicators I'm guessing these are front fog lamps?
Does anyone know what extras were available for the California and why they seem to be so different from model to model?

There were many factory options available at the time of purchase late 88 - 91, however, many of the additions you see are none factory accessories, like the project zero fog light pods you mentioned. Also it is pretty common to find California's 'spec'd up' using parts from other top models like Atlantic's. multivan LE's and other special editions.
Mine is a typical case...At great expense (these parts are the most sort after so rare and expensive) I have added: Big electric mirrors, a South African lower grille, rear Hella light infills, a FULL plank kit (Cali's only have door pods) Colour coded bumpers (they originally came unpainted black)
Carat Alloy wheels were a option when ordering.

And of course any extra you care to mention that was fitted to another model, finding it's way on to a California.

Thanks for that Martin I didn't know the bumpers where all black originally so any non-black would have been painted?
