Oil Leak to 1.9 DG Engine 1984

Hello.

Could someone tell me where they normal leak with these engines as I have a small weap.
Need to get an idea to I can gauge I price for repair...

It actually may be gearbox as I get see some oil near the box. It may explain why I struggle to get 1st and reverse gear. Just a thought...

Seal around gearbox input shaft, seal around flywheel centre, pushrod seals - anywhere theres a gasket or seal. Get it clean first then you may find source but its probably in bellhousing. Oil leaks are not hard to find but they are when everything is caked in it.

yes as said clean it and after the next run it will be clear where the leak is coming from.
