westfalia california, leisure battery issue

Post by davidoft1 »

good evening chaps and chapettes

I have an issue or 2 I think

first issue, my rear left speaker is shorting out somewhere and killing the stereo, is there anywhere that they tent to rub through on the body anywhere?

second issue, my interior lights(strip lights) appear to work when the leisure battery is disconnected, I assumed they would work off the leisure battery, am I wrong?

thanks

Not as standard - but many people move the lights and stereo over to the leisure battery as it seems to make more sense. You'll find other threads (/wiki?) on this. . basically find the relevant wire at fusebox and direct it to leisure + instead.
