I mean the feed pipe between the two tanks, mine had partly come away at the top connection which feeds the header tank (in the engine bay). I had the same temp gauge flashing light issue, I fixed and sealed the connection and the issue was resolved for me.

Yup, that's the one i thought. For the cost of a bit of tubing its got to be worth doing to rule it out.

I didn't replace my feeder pipe just repaired the connection, 6mm sounds about right through
