Which Oil Should I use ;)

Post by nevill3 »

It is time for an oil change and I decided to have a look for the current recommendations for oil and was delighted to find that the WIKI has been updated.

An excellent addition and well worth a read..... :ok

Grandmas old tights and keep your fingers crossed. Mann filters seem to be widely accepted. Its all GSF sells I think, if you have a local branch.

Well I have managed to find some Mineral oil at my local motorfactors, it's a brand I have not heard of before but I was using Morrisons own brand last year so I am not too worried. If anybody has heard of these and could give me either a thumbs up or thumbs down I would be grateful, The company is MPM International and the oil I purchased is Motor Oil 15W-40 Super High Performance Diesel It was the only Mineral oil I could find available locally off the shelf (Eurocarparts do not offer free delivery to the lake district!!).

Does anybosy know what thread size the valve type sump plug is, I may have to helicoil it this year!!!!

Does the Lake Distract receive deliveries from Amazon? lol

Good price as well...I'd buy 2 or 3 at this price.
