Hi, the only way to get more power is to use a boostcontroller and a powerbox or remap the chip for more diesel.
Only a booscontroller would not work. The ecu of an 1Z tdi can't handle it. I try this set-up :?
In combination with my powerbox work this set-up very ..... very well :ok
1.3bar boost till 4000tpm and i think the 1Z has now 115 bhp.
80mph is no problem with the A4 flipped gearbox
Dutchman Robin, 1Z TDI + Audi gearbox.

Just under 800 deg c,this is top gear pedal to the floor up hill and into the wind, seems to back up what you said about the kkk 14 blowing warm after 14/15 psi of boost ,this is on the " sb" engine I fitted a year ago ,I'm using the " jx" pump and turbo.

No intercooler
Very little smoke
Estimated EGT 350 to 650(I've been concentrating on the max readings
Pump timing .97 ish.
Just backed the wastegate off a bit (.7 bar)
Will turn it up a bit when it cools down!

Don't worry too much about max readings when the engine is working really hard for any amount of time as they are easily controlled by your foot.
Set up the boost to about 13- 14 psi and set the fueling up so that you can accelerate up through the gears keeping the egt's at a sensible level and you can go up an incline that doesnt pull the revs down without it going too high.
Are you running the jx pump or the sb?

The exhaust pipe at the turbo end has come away where it's welded to the flange ( nice word flange ) so it's a bit noisy!, but the EGT actually comes down a bit on hills, max now 700 deg c but mostly 200 to 600 c.
On the flat at 50 ish 270 deg c ish.
Ta MGP and co.
