I've often seen you make up a batch of repair panels such as sill closures and sill kits, and pass some on to others making the same repair.
If you are using the good archs as in the VW shape panel with inner arch, and making up a panel to repair the area emmediately above and in front of the arch
with the return lip to meet the arch, I would be very interested.
I don't like the look of the tall panels that are available that just reproduce the shape of the seam.
In an ideal world, something that went from the sliding door with the lowest swage included, and above the arch by an inch or two would be brilliant, and fill a hole in whats allready available. I can see that it would be rather difficult to make in one piece as it has a lip and a curve.
If theres rust in the seam, then there is more than likely damage to the upper lip aswell. I've done one side and repaired the top lip in places, but I'm not happy with it, and can see me redoing it in the future.
Does that make any sense?
