Fuel hose to pump kinked 1.9DG

Post by meggles »

As title. The hose is kinked because the fuel pump inlet is so close to the breather tower. Is this a fault with the pump (wrong one?). I can't see that this is correct but I cannot remember what it was like on my old van. This one is a 1985. Thanks in advance.

Yes some replacement pumps had the pipes in the wrong position.
This is how the original ones look.

Thanks BIgherb. That's what I suspected. New pump will be ordered asap.
