Hi

I've just replaced the drive flange and input shaft seals on a 5 speed box off a JX powered T25. I wondered if anyone could advise on the torque settings as I'm a bit worried about overtightening. The replacement gasket for the bellhousing to gearbox joint (the old one seemed to have a slight 'weep' and there was a dark grey sealant applied to the outside of the joint maybe by the PO) seemed rather flimsy although I'd seen the old one already and they look the same. Has anyone else done this and applied sealant as well with the gasket? Thanks

Here is a service manual for 5 speed boxes. it is in german but the torques are readable on the photos:
