Missing cog for odometer

Post by Merrsh1 »

Afternoon All

I've decided to tackle my none working odometer and having taken the binnacle apart the reason it isn't working is obvious - its missing the cog that turns the odometer wheels.

I've looked on ebay and don't really want to pay some pirate £250 for a binnacle just to get a cog so... Does anyone have the dimensions of the cog or can recommend a replacement / fix?

I've spent ages looking at Google and get conflicting info.

I'm fairly sure I've got a clock kicking around in my drawers - if you want it for parts or I may be able to locate the cog for you

Wow - that's very, very kind. I'll obviously pay you for it - I'd take the whole thing off you if you'd part with it?
