Nice but it really is crying out for a fridge
...and where has the 'C' pillar across the roof gone?

For the van to have strength this roof strut should be replaced

cheers kev. saving for propex heating ,then seat re-cover.....then a fridge lol, C-pillar ??? now where did I leave that !!... van was like this when I bought it, probably been that way since the conversion, :roll:

If it was converted by Autosleeper originally, then I think it wouldn't have, regulations would not have allowed it.
I would rather think a PO has removed it unaware of the safety implications

the roof is a different shape to my van,is it an Autosleeper original top??,nice interior by the way

thanks scottbott,,I bought the van (not knowing much about them) , After joining the forum & looking at different models on here,i don't think its an original Autosleeper..Doesn't bother me tho,its great to get out & about it & looking forward to our first camping trip in a couple of weeks time.

Kev - my Ermie is originally a Bilbo conversion and doesn't ahve the c pillar bridge.
She does however have a baox steel frame all round the the opening

:-)

Just had a look - can't see anything like that either :|

My trakka conversion with full length poptop doesn't have that bridge piece either.. ? Fine so far ;-)

If someone spent the time to refit their interior and removed the supporting bracket, that would be very silly. :rollin
