2.0 subaru engine conversion

Post by louisb »

Been offered a subaru 2.0 legacy engine with loom and all the bits for quite cheap, i cant find any info on here about the 2.0 conversion only the 2.2. i take it the 2.0 is a newer engine but wondered what was different about them and how much of a job is it to install.

I believe the installation of each of them are similar. The rjes website is good and highlights what you'll need. Others on here have gone that route though!

They are all pretty much the same conversion wise. Biggest difference is whether its turbo or na. What bits are included, clutch , flywheel , bellhousing , fuel pump/ filter are all needed. Also loom needs converting if you don't want do it yourself.
