Hi all,
... After doing loads of stuff on my 2l auto (CU) myself (by that I mean dissy cap, rotor, leads, filters etc.) - I've come up against a problem I just can's solve - I decided to a last tackle a prevailing engine oil leak, so I've just blanked off old fuel pump, fitted 8x new push-rod tube o rings (both ends) & 2x rocker cover gaskets & cleaned everything up, so now can see oil dripping (from the tinware that sits between head & tubes on n/side) onto push-rod tubes and manifold. I can't seam to shift top tinware, but can see through it that the oil pressure sender is dry & area around each spark plug looks clean.... Any suggestions as to what this may be would greatly be appreciated... cheers in advance...

It could be the distributor shaft leaking but usually it is the push rod tubes still leaking. Where the o rings for the head green or pink in colour?

Just done push rod tube seals - so leaking a lot less - but can now see leak on n/side above tubes on a black metal plate ...
tried to take tinware off above this but it wouldn't budge..
