Panel van camper build thread & pictures

Post by cookbot »

I've been slowly picking away my build hopefully getting it ready for a 5 week summer adventure somewhere. Anyway, here's some older pics - it's a lot further along at the moment, but I'm terrible at taking pics.

And a new control panel I had made while I was making some spare parts. I made 2, so if you're interested in it just let me know.

The main problem I'm having at the moment is wiring these switched in that have a light ring on them to show when it's latched. When you wire the LED part in series with the latching switch, it doesn't allow enough current to actually turn the lights on. I've also tried wiring a relay up and it still won't activate that!

Here's how I've got it wired, any ideas? The diode I've drawn represents the main lighting load.

Sorry, it's attached to the normally open, not normally closed section on the switch if you're confused! Not that it would make much difference.

Scrap that, I've drawn out the diagram properly and figured it out.
