Bit stuck on this one. There is a small outlet on the coolant manifold to the left of the coolant temp sensors. Does anyone know what this connects to? I also have a leak coming from the idle control valve as the hose is not connected. Again, where / what does this connect to?
Cheers

My engine is from a 1998 impreza sport and the idle air control valve is on the side of the inlet manifold rather than on top of the throttle body. There is a coolant connection coming off it but not sure where it goes to (my disassembly photos didn't come out well)
Cheers

The idle air control valve has 2 coolant connections. One routes under the reversed manifold to a connect on the manifold just beside the ecu coolant sensor. The second coolant line from the iac routes to the throttle body and back to the return coolant hard line atop the engine which ultimately feeds into the engine behind the thermostat.
