NEWBIE SEEKING ADVICE PLEASE

Post by Izzi »

Hi all......

Recently joined this forum and just want to introduce myself and say hello to everyone out there. I've owned a 1986 Kameo T25 for just over 2 years. Come close to selling her a couple of times thru sheer frustration but I'm hanging in there. Slowly trying to save to have bodywork attended to. Just had a new motor fitted. She's running and sounding sweet!

I need some advice please. My roof vent is leaking. I did a repair job on it about a year ago. Problem is I made the mistake of using standard silicone and it hasn't lasted. Can anyone recommend a good sealant to use?

Secondly, the fibreglass roof has a few hairline /spider cracks that I want to sort before they get worse and start letting water in. Is there a suitable product out there that I can use?

Thanks in advance for your help.

sikaforce 7800 will sort any fiberglass cracks and holes out, might be a bit of overkill for what you need it for though

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm a firm believer in overkill.
