Have to tested for vacuum leaks?

Cheers Doug! That magnet on the fuel tank is a great idea although that said, I started her up tonight and she fired up straight away which is good as I've re-booked her in for the MOT next Tuesday!

The fuel pipe on there now is newish but I've ordered some super duper new 5.6mm Codan fuel hose to go from the pump ready for when I replace the internal filter. Also looking at either refurbish or getting a new starter motor as am getting a clunk from the arm when it fires up - it's an old second hand one which I don't think was in the greatest of condition when I got it.

Yeah, have tested for those Dan and have replaced the vacuum pipe as a matter of course (also have a new vacuum advance). Have sprayed around the carb and manifold as well to listen for a change in sound and all seems well.
