Please help great forum of VW wisdom!
I bought a Propex HS2000 heater for our T25 Westie Vanagonat Christmas and I am going round in ever decreasing circles trying to find someone to fit it, but having even more difficulty finding somebody Gas Safe registered to check the work. I am based in London / south east UK.
Our van has an underslung LPG tank and Propex tell me it can be plumbed into the existing tank no problem by using an additional gas tap. But no one wants to touch it. I've tried approaching VW garages and the Gas Safe register so far as well as a place that converts vans to campers. I understand that it doesn't technically need to be GasSafe checked but with a new baby to take on trips we don't want to take any chances.
I would be hugely grateful for any recommendations or suggestions as to who I could try next!
Thank you

Re: Propex Heater Installation HELP
If you are in South London you could try East Dulwich Campers, they are a T25 garage, their website claims they fit night heaters eg Propex, as well as lpg systems.

Re: Propex Heater Installation HELP
Thank you so much. I have the van booked in for next week. I've been hunting everywhere to get this done and these guys were right under my nose just a few miles away.
