Lost in Bentley - help!
I'm not known for my 12 v electrical skills but I'd thought I'd have a bash at wiring up my electric mirrors on the van. I made things easier for myself by buying a pair complete with unbutchered loom. I'm left with just a few wires that will be feed and earth but I've no idea where the actually go to, hence, getting lost in the pages of Bentley. I'm struggling to find the correct pages in the wiring section and wondered if someone may be able to put me out of my misery by furnishing me with a page number. If you can, many thanks.

Re: Lost in Bentley - help!
Thanks chap but as I suspected, I'm struggling to make sense of it!! Most of the loom is simple as it has the connectors which plug into the switch and mirrors, I just have a couple of others that I'm trying to identify - by that I mean where they physically go on the van. Looking at the loom in front if me, it's obvious that they go to the fuse board, but where?

The black/Yellow goes to plug G terminal 1 on the back of the fuse box
Green/white goes to the output terminal 86 of the Heated rear window switch.
Brown goes to an earth point

Fantastic. I didn't realise they were heated which left me wondering why I had more than just feed/earth remaining. All is clear now. Heated rear screen is next on the list. Many thanks.

Re: Lost in Bentley - help!
One more query!
I have a brown and a green/white in a 2 pin white plastic shroud,
A black/yellow in a female spade connector (you've explained where that goes),
A loose brown with a female spade connecto,
And a loose green/white.
Not quite sure how to marry up these stragglers with them having different 'terminals' on the ends.
Thoughts please.

Re: Lost in Bentley - help!
I'm confused because one of the brown wires is in a plug a green/white wires. I've taken a couple of photos but getting them on here will be a bigger chore than the wiring! I suppose I'll have to endeavour.

Re: Lost in Bentley - help!
Bloody hell, that was easier than I remembered! Anyway, apologies for the dull light but there's no sun in Salisbury today.
The brown on the right appears to have been two wires going to the same crimp but it has been cut.
Any further instruction will be most welcome. Not worried about the heating element at the moment. Thanks.

I guess I'm confused because it looks to me as though the brown, green/white wires on the right seem as though they too should be in a connectors like the ones on the left. Yes/no?

Probably look at the right of the diagram for the mirrors, T are connectors blocks the number is the amount of connectors so T2 is a two cable connector the letter tells you where it is.what2do wrote:I guess I'm confused because it looks to me as though the brown, green/white wires on the right seem as though they too should be in a connectors like the ones on the left. Re: Lost in Bentley - help!
Thanks again Herb. I'm going to have to hold out for some help as I'm still baffles regarding the wires in the photos.
