I don't want to go down this road again but if you are correct why are the strands different colours some copper colour some almost black

Proper welding cable is fine annealed copper strands for flexibility - no different coloured strands whatsoever. What sort of cable are you referring to?

I do have a picture ....somewhere..... But I can't find it right now.....
But you will still need the same sized battery that would fit behind the seat , a 085 code , 175x175x280mm
