Empi progressive throttle linkage

Post by burnzdog »

Hi,

Want to put in a EMPI progressive Carb in the van, but not entirely sure how Im going to connect the throttle linkage. The cable is obviously on the right side, dont quite see how that its going to pull the throttle on the carb?

Any help appreciated.

if the carb doesn't come with the correct cable, and the manufacturer can't help then I'd contact Richard at RJES who can make you a cable kit to suit
but if the carb doesn't come with suitable cable for our van then I'd be asking how suitable is the cab for our engine
a new 2e3 is only £300 and they go fantastic real improvement over a 25-30 year old unit and Bromyard refurb is £200 I believe plenty on here swear by them

Hi Aiden. Can you let me know where to buy one. I was going to get my van running on petrol but once labour and travel expenses are factored in there may not be much in it plus I won't have to wait as long. Would a new on be difficult to set up bearing in mind I'm on LPG and petrol

I may be wrong but haven't you visited AJ at Campershack? Plenty of us on here with 2e3 carbs running LPG that he's set up.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?
