My bus is 1981 2000 cc Aircooled
What is the best replacement for the twin carbs ?Weber idf 40 or ict 34 ?

One thing to consider is that the original twin solex carbs can be refurbished eg by Gasure (garage service), Gower & Lee (postal service).. mine were done by the former and very happy with them ever since...

Hi

I'm happy with my Weber ICT34s fitted last year. The power is great, he mpg increased but probably a reflection on how poor mine was running on the original twin Solex.

Therefore any change will be better and almost all owners are happy with replacements/ refurbishments as a consequence.
