Hi ,
Is it legal to and has anyone mounted a towball to the front of their T25 ?
I have been looking for a removable one for launching and recovering my mirror dinghy , also to attach my winch thanks in advance.

Re: Front towbar
Yes I made mine. The tow bar is flush with the bumper so I can unbolt the towball and not leave any projections.

Re: Front towbar
No problem
It is two 6mm steel plates shaped to fit the existing holes in the underside of the front crossmember.
Then welded onto the plates.
Two 50x50x3mm box section as droppers.
Then 50x50x6mm angle cut and bent with two M16 nuts welded on the rear.

Re: Front towbar
I would say that the tow ball needs to be detached when driving as it will be a protrusion to a hit pedestrian - i think that would make it an MOT failure.
