Am I right in assuming that the above wire is surplus to requirements in my rjes loom subaru conversion? There is the yellow wire in the rjes loom that goes to the starter instead however I dont want to get rid of the wire if it has some other purpose. Apologies but I cannot understand the wiring diagram in the haynes manual which shows this wire

Hi everyone
Am I right in assuming that the above wire is surplus to requirements in my rjes loom subaru conversion? 1987 VW T25: Subaru EJ20 using RJES parts (If it was meant to go fast it wouldn't be brick shaped!)

Sorted. Piggyback red and black wire on to yellow wire
