so for instance I've got to put 8 of these in and the rear sides of the chargers will be behind the insulation and lining and not removable once the lining is fixed. As you can see there is a fixed spade/lug on the back 4.7mm or 6.2 I can't remember. So I can just crimp up some of these crppy female spades that i've bought or find a different way of doing it! :D

When you fit them make sure you fit them in such a way you can remove them, in case one should fail or a wire overheats etc. make the wires long enough so you can pull it out.

Get non-insulated ones from here

http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/s ... e-terminal" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Solder to your hearts content

And use the separate insulation sleeves on the same page

cheers Nicq the barrels of the chargers are threaded with the retaining plastic nut put on from the back. But you have given me a good idea, I'll make some little retaining plates for them so they can be held from the front rather than rear so I will be able to access/inspect/change them. Uglier, but probably for the best and I can keep an eye on the connectors from time to time.

On another note I can see in your picture you have a hubdach on your van. I have ordered one from Germany (SCA not Reimo), did you install it yourself and if so do you have any photos and advice?

Or put them on a plate so the whole thing can be removed.

I use these when I need better quality ones ( this has a tang for terminal housings but you can get them with a pip instead)
The rear is folded around inside to give a large spring contact - hard to see in my photo.
