Re: Disabling petrol engine
I have a nice cheap tracker from flea bay which can listen in to the conversation in the cab and relay the position to my phone. I can send a command to shut off the fuel and cut the ignition feed . Fuel shut off solenoid under the van hidden in the fuel line (petrol) and connected to the lpg valves. The Ignition feed is cut off by a relay also underneath further back, protected by a plastic box. The device will not cut these off until it is travelling under 10kmh. If a GPS jammer is used it will send me the phone systems best approximation of location according to local masts. It can also send me GPRS data and even set off the alarm siren of the alarm as well as the twin air horns. If I set a radius alert or time alert it will text me when/if the van moves or exits the specified radius or exceeds a pre set speed. It will send me data on speed, position, ignition on/off, door opened, fuel level and maybe even what is for tea!!!! All for £17.00 plus a giff gaff sim card on pay as you go. And it works faultlessly!!! These chinese are ace!!! To go with this you need lots of window stickers saying don't try it and a steering lock for good measure.

Re: Disabling petrol engine
The quickest way to disable the engine is to whip the negative battery lead off seeing as the T25 has the battery so easily accessible.
To make it tool-free and even quicker, take 2 minutes to fit one of these cheap isolators...

If you're working regularly on the vehicle it makes it very quick to disconnect the battery but also serves to prevent battery drain when parked up.

I use the removable big red key type with the switch in a not very obvious place. You can turn this into a cheap thief alarm by wiring a twelve volt siren across the isolator switch but you will lose radio channels and maybe need to enter your radio code (if you have it!)by dissing the battery unless you also insert a high wattage resistor in parallel with the siren. I did this and it works a treat but it is not for the amateur electrician.
