Hi Simon, can't vouch for c&c but always been more than happy with Chris at VW Emporium.

custom and commercial are spot on, yeh they are veewib as long as you get the good ones, I think they do cheaper ones, but go with the good ones. Normally a good price from c+c and service is excellent. Bought a set from them a few weeks ago £130, jk were listing them at £190+ . Exactly the same seals. :ok

Agreed ,the vewub brand confirms quality and fit , not saying others do nor but why fit an unknown brand if branded at all

well jk sell the same seals as the others, vewib or whatever they are, they must have listened to the moans and done something about it( they sell cheap crap as well, but that's cheaper). Apparently they have been selling them for about 2 years. Im a big fan of jk, most of the time, I rang them and asked if they would price match c+c s retail £130, against there retail £190+, trade was less but still miles away from £130. There answer was after checking c+c web site was "c+cs are not in stock , so they refused to match it. I placed the order with c+c came the next day, the seal that was out of stock came 1/2 days later, I didn't have to pay any postage, I saved a lot of money, jk ruined there 100% reputation with me. The kit was for factory fitted windows front and back and all sides. Ive used vw emporium , same quality seals and normally a good price.

thats just the bpoint, when all hold stock they will cut the price to match ,which sounds a bit like yep were dearer and if were the only stockist then tough, sorry but with new stock i dont agree with that,
i personally use vewib as they are a known quality/profile and rubber composition, now yes there are others that sell a simmilar seal supposedly from the same maker/extruder, but with the same grade rubber as well ? seems odd then that if they are the same price as vewib then what is the point,
to me its like any branded product , you pay a premium for consistency .
that aside, good on you for taking the pricing up with them, they also seem to have got their packing organised a bit better as ive not had to send as much back to them as usual through damage

The seals from c+c come with the vewib label attached, jk told me there quality ones are vewib as well. I have bought from Chris at vw emporium who also sells vewib as you know, my only "gripe" with vw emporium is the post is a bit slow, I need next day.
