I have an opportunity to buy a fuel line kit from Brickparts but they'd like to know the measurements of my Caravelle fuel lines as they don't have ready made kits for this.
I don't have this info.
Does anyone else? Its a 2.1 fuel injected 1990 Caravelle petrol auto.
Thanks all

Fuel line measurements?
1990 2.1 petrol injected Caravelle
Re: Fuel line measurements?
Morning Emma/Al.
Personally, I would drain the tank and cut the old ones out. Just lie them on the floor and take measurements then.
You should do the return line too - if one needs replacing, the other will be soon to follow and it's not worth waiting for the leak when talking about fuel IMO.
If you do take the old out first, just take some pics so you know the route ( although it is very straightforward on a non-injection - not sure about injection but I doubt the route is different. )
Doing it this way you will also be able to see if you need any extras, like any broken clips that hold the fuel line to the chassis, for example.

Hi smiffo - Al was the name of my hi top 10 years ago, i just haven't gotten around to changing my username yet!
Thanks for your advice. I don't have access to an off road area and not confident in taking off the fuel tank, so my idea was to buy a ready made kit and take it to my garage to be fitted.

Ah I see.
You won't need the tank out though, just the lines off and drain it ( very quick - you spend longer waiting for the fuel to drain out than it takes to get the lines off. )
I would see if there is someone local here who could pop down and assist - for a couple of beer tokens.
It really isn't a big job and is ideal to get you into working on your van.
( Once you start, your confidence will increase. )
If I were close I would help myself.
Someone close should be able to help you formulate a plan.
