Carb rebuild

Post by Ant-t »

Been thinking about rebuilding my carb to clean it out, it's a Pierburg 2E3, how easy or difficult is this, any tips?

My van loses power very occasionally, nothing critical but I'd like to service it to eliminate the carb from the issue. Also I don't know when it was last done

My guess if it's intermittant it's not carb but electrical, i.e ignition.
Have you been through the ignition and serviced/replaced any of it?

Got plenty of carb pics to help with a rebuild, it's not hard but it's methodical intricate work or you could make it worse
If it's not broke don't fix it :ok
