Clip on panel help please

Post by chewbacca »

Hi guys. There's a panel I'd like to make removable in my bus, with out having to get the screwdrivers out.
Does anyone have any suggestions on suitable clips for the job?

Thanks.

Any panel in particular? Are they original, diy or from a kit? The generic panel clips from vwheritage etc. work well for options 1&3 but diy would need a but more info.

Good point, sorry. Didn't really think that through!

DIY. I've a wooden frame going in, the cover panel will be 3mm ply more than likely.
Ideally I'd like the clips to be hidden, but that's not vital. Panel will be carpeted.

Thanks for the help.

How about a couple of dowels on the bottom to locate and magnetic catches on the top

Open pipe clips.

fix a suitable mount on your wooden frame (dowel/bolt etc) for the clips to pop on.
