Embarrassing wiper question

Post by Emma&Al »

...not only can I NOT figure out how the new wiper blades fit on, but I can't even get the old ones off...

Is there a knack to this? I HAVE changed them before but it was years ago! How embarrassing... I even looked in my Caravelle interior manual!

There should be a notch in the wiper arm that the plastic connector on the blade hooks into. If you've got the replacements with you, you could just use a small screwdriver to lever the old blade off.

Yes they fit the opposite way to how it looks they should go, if you understand me. Be careful though if doing in situ to keep hold of spring loaded arm, to save any potential damage to your screen.
