Bush help

I am looking at replacing a few things on my suspension/steering, these included

Track rods
Steering rack bushes
ARB Bushes
Drop Link Bushes
Steering Couplings

I notice that there are different thickness's available for the ARM bushes/Drop Link. 19mm, 21mm or 23mm I think
Is there a way of knowing which I need (without stating the obvious of getting underneath with a ruler!)

I know I have the straight drop links rather than the bend/cranked ones if that helps

I could make out the part number on the old OE bushes on mine:



251 411 045 B = 19mm
251 411 045 = 21mm
251 411 045 A = 23mm

It's worth a look to see if yours are the originals, you can see with the steering on full lock so no need to roll about on the floor.

p.s updating the bushes to poly has made a massive improvement, well worth doing IMO.

Put a 19mm spanner on it - you'll know instantly then
