Another engine question--this time it's a sensor

Big lumps of metals and spanners. Including servicing and fluids.

Another engine question--this time it's a sensor

Post by Gary.pb »

Apologies for bombarding the forum with questions during my engine build. It's the first one I've done on my own and just want to make sure it's done right.

I have noticed a sensor/sendor on the left hand side of the engine which screws into the engine between the two central push rod tubes. It looks like it's seen better days so I want to replace it with a new one. It looks like it would be a complete pig to get to once the engine is back in so I would rather do it now. After looking on numerous websites I can't quite work our what it is. Can anybody shed any light on this.

Regards
