Headlights turn off whilst driving

Drove the van tonight and realised that my headlights had gone off..switched them off and on again and they were fine.
But think they've done this several times before - any ideas?

Could simply be a worn out faulty switch?

It's always worth cleaning the earth crowns up to see if that helps.
