Trackers and immobilisers

Does anyone have any advice on which tracker and/or security systems are best, do you have to spend a fortune? I already have a hidden switch which prevents the van from starting, its pretty low tech i know and if they really want the van its going to go. There are plenty of self fit options on e-bay and Amazon, does anyone have experience of these ?Thanks in anticipation of advice.

Take a look at this thread. It's a long one - perhaps start at the end and work backwards! The TK103 (and its variants) is a popular DIY model.
