Wheel bearings

Post by Darbs »

I let my friend borrow my van this week and he took it to cornwall, had a great time and the van ran like a dream until he headed home along the a30. The van started shaking then the rear wheel fell off at 65mph!!
Luckily everyone was ok, the AA collected and he said it was most probably the wheel bearings. The vans in the garage and im just waiting for the bad news ie damage report.

The van was only MOTd a week ago, should this have happened? :(

Darbs,,,,,,,,,, really you are in the hands of the garage who got the job of fixing the present problem.

Personally I would like to see the remains of the damaged parts and if need be fully explained to me as to why it happened, any garage worth its salt will be able to provide this service.

Regards,

Fritz.,,,,,,
