Seat runner dimensions

Post by CJH »

Can somebody tell me how far apart the seat runners are on standard cab seats/bases? (centre to centre)

I am planning to send my front seats away for reupholstering, and while they're away I'm hoping to get some standard front seats temporarily. But my seats aren't standard, so I thought I should check first that standard seats will fit the runners. Mine are Wolfrace captains seats that were specified by the original purchaser when he bought the van. They're on swivel bases that don't seem to be the same as other swivel bases that I've seen, so there's a good chance that the runners aren't standard.

I've only ever found one source of information about these seats - an old Wolfrace brochure that shows the seats with or without arms.

Thank you. I may not be able to fit standard seats then - one of my bases is 15.75" and one is 16". Looks like they may have been made up specially to suit the seats, with a bit of 'manufacturing tolerance'.
