Seeing as I like to everything the hard way and throw every spare pound going at my van, I had the holes for the fridge vent and water inlet on the side panel welded up as I was talked into selling the old Westy interior and having a custom interior. Long story short and now I have a shiny late Westy interior in my lounge waiting to fit but I need to recut the holes into the side!! The guy at the bodyshop is going to cut them for me but I need to mark them on for him. Is anyone able to give me any measurements to help or is the best bet just to offer the fridge up and then draw round the outlet? Cheers
Sorry can't answer your question Richmo & sure someone will be along to advise, just like to say that is one great looking van - is it the one with the Subaru engine in? I also think that those Ronal's are some of the best looking wheels I've seen on a T25.
Thanks for the complements guys! It does look rather special now yup Subaru WRX motor in, I did loose heart in it recently but have decided to keep it and finish the inside. I was going to use a fridge with no vent needed that's why I had them welded up but I've just bought a complete Westy interior so want to use that fridge now. Seams have been sealed up, not filled as such, the shot blasted them then sealed them up, the paint job is superb!
Ah. Now I'm intrigued, a few folk have asked about having this done, its personal preference, got any more picks and what did they deal them with to give a paintable finish

Yeah, saw that you had it up for sale and would have been very tempted had I had the cash available! Good luck with it and keep us updated on the progress
You've intrigued me now! why wouldn't a Weaco compressor fridge need vents? or is it not 3 way? and besides that, that grey Westy interior uses a fridge with exhaust flue vent only....Plus the 240 volt hookup and water fill.
you said it , they dont use gas etc and are a true compressor fridge,,there are conflicting stories ref the power usage, ninja tom has one in his nice syncro and no doubt a few others have, be nice to have a users guide as opposed to the manufacturers specs in an ideal world
