Saab 9-5 Seats - One on Swivel?

Post by bmouthboyo »

Hi Guys,

I have a pair of Saab 9-5 seats and like the idea of the NS seat being on a swivel base. If I purchased the swivel mount like here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Seat-Swivel-P ... SwHnFVlLo0

would it be A) easy to fit. and B) would it sit higher than the driver seat that was on the replaced SAAB runners that came with the seat?

Cheers

There was a thread on here with a guy who used this swivel with his Saab seats.

http://www.swivel-seats.com/mercedes-vi ... 04-on.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I can't find the thread again since the forum clean up, but I've just taken the plunge and ordered 2 for my Saab seats. Couldn't resist as they're on special offer.

Looks like they'll lift the seats up approx 30mm.

If you order VW type swivels you may need to remove the runners to fit Saab seats.

I took the runners off my swivel plates and just bolted my new Alfa seats on to them.

i didn't consider the drivers seat too as I have a auto sleeper conversion I assumed the seat would hit the sink?

Any advise on where to find for decent price? On eBay it'd be over 300 quid!
