Sliding Door Beading

Afternoon all,

1984 W/C 1,9 DG

Trying to get hold of the plastic strip which fits along the top of the Sliding Door .
Can anyone assist please . Part number, etc.. Alternative ...

Pretty certain its the same as beetle wing trim

The link is for side cover beading .

One I am after is a strip which locates on the very top edge of the Sliding Door itself .
I unfortunately didn't remove it, but I hazard a guess and imagine it is U shaped in
profile and about 6/8mm deep , quite thin as well I would think . :?:
Tried he usual suppliers and no joy, as yet .

Sorry, i read it wrong. Mine is missing from the top of my cab doors since the respray, would love to know the part numbers myself.

this may be the part number for the sliding door one...251843178 hard to tell from the drawing though

Thanks Lloydy, I'll investigate .
D'y'know never had one on my cab doors, just the Slider ,
once I've got the van back to stock should be easier for anyone in the future . Lucky b------s !

Just emerged from partsbase , :shock:

As it's described as a protective edging, should be able to find something similar
to suit, not sending to the states either .

Time for another Glenlivett and lie down !
