What's this then?

Post by JonB »

Took the passenger side door card off this afternoon and noticed these 2 small boxes. It's in a Caravelle GL (1990)

Blue and Brown go off some where (thinking central locking) and the other two dual core wires just hang down into the moistness of the lower door. Any ideas what the boxes actually are....and why the van isn't using 2 of the connections?

Sorry, Cant see your image.
My caravelle has CL, From memory it uses a 3way connector block and a single connector block.
I also have Elec windows, The motor is at the hinge side at the base of the door, again from memory a 3way block to the switch and a 2way block to the motor.

Thanks Tony, photo's appear on my laptop but not on my phone through Tapatalk. Probably the downside of linking to Google Picassa.

What I have sounds familiar to what you describe as definitely looks like it provides power being controlled...Wonder if it could be heated mirrors & windows. Might have a play around at some point.
